When The Centre for Cosmetic Surgery chose us to improve their search rankings, we identified at least two goals that would turn their website into a tool to generate new clients. See below for the full story.
The website we created for The Centre was already ranking #2 for the search terms like "cosmetic surgery Delaware", but there was still work to do. We identified that each of The Centre's many cosmetic procedures could rank separately for multiple search terms, which would increase the chance that a prospective client would find them.
If someone in need of cosmetic nose surgery were to type in "plastic surgeon in Delaware", The Centre would show up in the top 3 just fine. But our goal was to make sure that if someone typed in "deviated septum Delaware" or "rhinoplasty in Delaware", The Centre for Cosmetic Surgery would be in the top 5.
If we could make this happen, traffic to their site would increase, thereby drastically raising the chance of gaining a new client from a Google search.
And the results? Well, I hate to brag, but our team nailed it. Every one of The Centre's procedures now rank in the top 10, with more than half of them in the Top 3-5.
Every month, we focused down a set of keywords with the most opportunity for growth, and the most traffic potential. Using analytical tools that measure how many people are searching for a given keyword or phrase, we selected over a dozen procedures and services. By the time of this writing, 90% of these services are ranking in the top 10%. From July to December 2023, we 4x'd The Centre's number of keywords in the top 10, and tripled keywords in the top 20, trending upwards. That means anyone searching for cosmetic surgery in Delaware and surrounding areas will be 5 times more likely to see The Centre's website.
Put very simply: the most powerful way to continue the growth of The Centre's web presence is to increase the number of people who see their name when they search for their services and procedures. As we continue to work on their keyword matches, we may suggest targeted blogging that captures more long-tail keywords, maintaining their Google Business profile, creating a client reviews campaign to capture powerful testimonials, and improving the backend performance of the site. All of these steps speak to the guidelines that Google's bots use to determine how relevant a page is, and have been proven to work for business after business to climb their way to the top.
Not only will The Centre for Cosmetic Surgery's website rank well in the short term, these changes have incredible staying power over time. Unlike running online ads, which disappear the moment you stop paying them, SEO returns on its investment for years afterward.
We're looking forward to watching The Centre grow and expand. Our work is only the beginning!
